Company Background

Founded in 1813, the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce has been the consistent voice of local businesses, helping them connect, support, and grow. They offer a variety of services across six regions and four divisions including activities such as marketing campaigns and arranging networking opportunities and media exposure.

Data Quality Challenge

A migration of multiple legacy CRM systems into our current CRM system introduced many duplicate records which rendered our reports inaccurate. The built-in functionality of our CRM system had its limitations one of which was only being able to dedupe two records at a time. This limitation proved to be very problematic and would have a huge negative impact on the time needed to dedupe the data.

Data Quality Solution

After extensive research into different products, we came across DQ for Dynamics™, a solution created by DQ Global. The customer service team were very helpful and immediately arranged a demo session to take us through the system, as well as any questions/concerns we might have.

The Results

The software tool proved to be very intuitive and flexible to use, giving us full control on what match criteria we wanted to build. The ability to review and merge multiple records and fields at a time, saved a lot of time that can now be allocated elsewhere. Additionally, the scheduler module has also helped in maintaining the integrity of our data, as new duplicates are being highlighted and dealt with immediately.

The customer service and development teams at DQ Global have truly gone above and beyond. We were supported brilliantly from the requirements stage all the way to user training. Their professional, yet friendly support team, dealt with any questions or issues we’ve had throughout the project very swiftly. We have been using DQ for Dynamics™ for a year now, and due to the amazing product and customer support, we are currently in the process of renewing our license. With the experience we have had over the past year, we have now opted to lock in to a 3-year renewal to ensure our data is up to scratch.
