The DQ Master API has been designed to follow the DQ Global mantra “Automate processes and humanise exceptions”.
DQ Master empowers organisations to build advanced record mastering rules; which first, auto-select the best record from a duplicate record set, then, auto-fill the chosen best record with data field values taken from duplicate records to create a Master or Golden record.
The record mastering rules are highly configurable, helping clients master their customer data fast with repeatable rules which provide very high levels of certainty.
Avoid time-consuming, costly and error-prone manual reviews of hundreds, if not thousands, of duplicate records.
Where records have been deemed ambiguous matches by the DQ Score API, the duplicate candidates can be sent for manual processing via the DQ Review API and companion Review user interface (UI), which allows data to be queued for manual review.
Depending on specific client needs, real-time application data is retrieved and presented for review and mastering through our universal record review user interface (UI).
Reviewers then benefit from all pre-defined DQ Master API rules for both auto-best record detection and auto-fill operations.

The DQ Master API™ is independent of other DQ APIs, however, most commonly works with our DQ Search™ and DQ Score™ APIs, which when supplied with duplicate record sets, offers a fully configurable MDM rules engine.
To create a golden record the DQ Master API allows you to firstly auto-detect and choose the best record, from the duplicate set. Then, auto-fill the chosen best record with data selectable from any fields in the duplicate group to create a golden record.
Once assembled the golden record may now be used as you choose; perhaps to update one or many customer records within your enterprise, in any migration, integration SCV or MDM initiative.
To achieve a single customer view, all duplicate records must be consolidated and ideally mastered.
