How did we become the data company you know today

Many know DQ Global for providing CRM software solutions and ensuring high quality customer experiences.

But how did we become the technology company you know today?

Our journey starts in the 1990s, DQ Globals founder, Martin Doyle realised poor quality customer data was a large issue for businesses transitioning into the digital world with customer/contact management. People struggled to ensure their new CRM investment contained high quality customer data. They needed help, and DQ Global was born to do just that!

Over the last 25 years, the importance of high-quality data has only increased, new technology and large quantities of data has become increasingly more ingrained within our lives.

But as the technology world has grown, so have we. Our team of Data Quality experts has expanded throughout the years, creating thought leaders within the power platform and Microsoft space. We outgrew our original office and moved to a larger space, and then did that once more.  

Now we’re situated in the heart of the Fareham Innovation Centre, right by the seaside. We’re also lucky to be only a short drive from Southampton where we’ve become regulars at Microsoft technology Summits and leaders at the Microsoft Cloud User Group.

Over two decades ago we were just three workers with DeDupe, our first database de-duplication technology which allowed users to match records in five spoken languages. We’ve come a long way since then!

Where’s DQ Global Now

Fast forward to today and you’ll see 100s of companies helped, a handful of rebrands, and many product launches. DQ Globals become an established, award-winning software company specialising in Microsoft technology.  Helping people eradicate data quality issues and release the full potential of their CRM.  

People expect personalised customer knowledge and marketing as the basic standard now. With the growth of data available and higher expectations of technology, data quality is now more essential than ever for a successful tech-driven future. 

What’s in store for our future?

Our solutions are constantly being updated and worked upon to ensure the best solution for tackling poor data quality. Our product list is only getting longer and will only grow next month with the launch of our long-awaited product, DQ for Excel. The essential tool for anyone dealing with large amounts of data in Excel. It works right inside Microsoft Excels familiar and easy to use ecosystem, to make it easy for anyone to build a future with trusted customer data.  A brilliant addition to our growing family.
