After taking the time to understand our position, the DQ Global team enabled us to completely eradicate our data issues, remain on top of our data management and maximise the value of our data by ensuring there are consistent data management processes across SZG.
Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove (Sub-Zero Group Inc.) started back in the 1930s when our founding owner, Westye Bakke, began experimenting with refrigeration. In 1945 the first system for preserving food was born.
Since then, SZG has established itself as a top-tier luxury brand. We are renowned as the refrigeration, cooking, and dishwashing specialists and are found in many of the world’s most luxurious homes today.
We utilise an eco-system of tools within the company, of which Dynamics CRM (D365) Sales and Marketo Marketing Automation are responsible for empowering our sales channels, which if managed correctly, enable a consistent process across our organisation.
D365 and Marketo synchronise records across both systems and require cleansing in each platform while maintaining data integrity. Historically, we have faced multiple challenges across both platforms to provide quality data within the tools and synchronise changes to the parallel systems, without causing issues around data integrity and duplication.
Having been made aware of DQ Global in 2016 while researching potential solutions online, the DQ Global team took the time to understand our organisation’s data ecosystem and evaluate how best to leverage our existing systems to eradicate our data issues and maximise the value of the data itself.
DQ Global’s DQ for Dynamics solution was the answer. The tool contains multiple features that we leverage to improve our data quality and integrity on a day to day basis.
Utilising the advanced views within D365 to find and cleanse records has proven invaluable! We can isolate the data we want to focus on. This is only possible with DQ for Dynamics. The ability within advanced views to isolate specific fields is something you cannot do today with out of the box D365 data de-dupe. However, DQ Global’s industry-leading solution allows us to strategically merge records based on scenarios specific to our business and processes.
We were also excited about the ability of cross-entity merging and partnered with the DQ team to pioneer this. Our specific use case relates to an issue with data coming into D365 as a lead, when it should be matched up against existing contacts. You cannot do this as standard with D365, but with cross-entity merging, we can complete the import and merge the lead into the existing contact, creating a singular record.
Additionally, we love the attribute transformation and scheduling features! We can schedule match sessions to run and then run auto-promote, which allows us to automatically identify our best records from a set of duplicates. With DQ’s scheduling features, this all occurs outside of our regular business hours, reducing the impact on our end users and gives our support teams a little extra breathing room to focus elsewhere.
Lastly, the interface provides an easy to use and intuitive user experience. We provide this to our data analyst within the business without having to be system administrators with advanced technical backgrounds.
As a result of embracing DQ Global’s DQ for Dynamics solution, we can confidently bring in large datasets into our D365 environment without causing duplicates in Marketo. We accomplish this by de-duplicating with DQ for Dynamics in D365, prior to flagging them to sync from D365 to Marketo. This is a huge game-changer for us.
We finally have single records for our B2B and B2C business. Our end-users recognise and trust the data quality we have now. When they search within D365 they are confident in the integrity of the data they find, and we’ve noticed toolset/process adoption has improved as a result too.
Lastly, we have established an internal process to review duplicate sessions regularly which has made us extremely efficient. I cannot imagine how we would have accomplished what we have without DQ Global’s support and the DQ for Dynamics solution!
