Understanding Cleansing Your SalesLogix Database

Cleanse can be used when data has been incorrectly captured, or when databases are manually merged or joined using an import operation. The tool meshes seamlessly with the SalesLogix application and extends its functionality, ensuring the data within it is clean and tidy.
Cleanse allows approved staff to identify, merge, re-assign and synchronise data across the SalesLogix application. It can be used for all primary entities in the Accounts, Contacts, Leads and Opportunities screens within your copy of SalesLogix.
Using DQ Global’s® Cleanse tool, records can be matched, deduplicated, ignored and merged as appropriate. Administrators can also create custom table joins. When data is matched, the software intelligently scores the matches and weights them to make each review efficient and speedy.
Any changes made during the data deduplication and data cleansing processes will be recorded in an audit trail. If records have been reviewed already, Cleanse for SalesLogix intelligently files those records away for maximum efficiency, ensuring they are not repeatedly presented for review.
