DQ25: We celebrate our 25th birthday

25th Birthday 1920x1280

This month, DQ Global is celebrating an incredibly special birthday. We turn 25 years old!

Founded by Martin Doyle in 1995, DQ Global has grown to become one of the most innovative and respected data quality companies.

Originally trained as a mechanical engineer and working in the air conditioning industry, Martin had always been interested in the IT sector.

Here’s how Martin went on to start DQ Global:

“Prior to starting DQ Global, I founded a company which implemented CRM systems.

It was not long until customers started requesting that we assembled their data from various sources, in addition to cleansing it.

I soon realised that there were very few tools which helped businesses manage their data, and thus DQ Global was born.

Over the last 25 years, the importance of data has only grown; however, many businesses continue to neglect one of their biggest assets.

With new technology and big data becoming increasingly more ingrained within our lives, data quality is paramount for a successful tech-driven future.

Since launching 25 years ago, we have helped countless businesses across the globe eradicate their data quality issues and streamline their operations, all the while promoting the concept of single customer view and master data management.

We strive to create a digital world where data is treated as a treasured asset and is respected and recognised for its value.

As we celebrate this special birthday, I would like to thank everyone who has helped us achieve what we have in this short quarter of a century.

From our software developers, and application specialists, to our support staff and clients, thank you.

We are excited to see how the data landscape changes in the future and what the next 25 years will bring.”
